Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

Abia Radio News reports that he announced this move through his Instagram page, where he shared a video showing the moment he registered and received his membership card in Ozubulu, Anambra State.

The actor said he has taken the step to move from online discussions to real political involvement in his community.  He said he was ready to take action rather than just talk on social media.

He wrote, “I dey my village, enough of the talking online, I don involve.”

In other news, chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has described supporters of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) as clueless kids who should be tamed and trained.

Abia Radio News reports that Igbokwe made the remark in a post on his official Facebook page while reacting to the peaceful protest at the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC headquarters in Abuja on Wednesday by the ADC members and supporters.

Recall that during the protest aimed at expressing grievance over INEC’s position on the leadership crisis rocking the ADC, some of the party’s supporters were heard chanting Tinubu must go.

In response, Igbokwe questioned why Tinubu, who is yet to complete his first term in office, should quit his job.
