Nigerian singer cum songwriter, Abolore Adegbola Akande, popularly known as 9ice, has sparked reactions from Nigerians over a viral clip of him picking up dollars at the Lagos’ Rewind Flashback Concert.

Abia Radio News reports that during the event, which took place on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, a fan was captured spraying dollars to the ‘No Be Mistake’ crooner, and 9ice surprisingly paused mid-performance to pick the money.

9ice’s display is unlike some celebrities who have aides to help them pick up money sprayed on them at events, and the gesture has sparked mixed reactions from netizens.
