KWAM1’s Daughter, Dami Opens Up On Romantic Relationship With Asake

The daughter of Fuji maestro, King WasiAyinde Marshall, popularly known as KWAM 1, Dami, has debunked rumours of a romantic relationship with Nigerian singer, Asake.

Abia Radio News reports that Dami and Asake recently sparked relationship rumours after sharing a picture of themselves at an event.

Dami captioned the Instagram post “Mr Money and Mrs Money,” which sparked speculation about a romantic relationship.

However, Dami, in a post via her Instagram page on Monday, dismissed the rumours of dating Asake.

She explained that the picture was from her first meeting with the singer.

She wrote, “Guys, that was my first time meeting him [Asake], so I took a picture. Do not believe blogs, they can do anything for traffic.” 

Asake is not publicly known to be in any romantic relationship since breaking up with his Gambia girlfriend, Madame Mystique, in 2014.

Meanwhile, Afrobeats superstar Wizkid has revealed his wish for singer Asake to perform at his wedding.

Abia Radio News reports that he spoke during a recent appearance on Apple Music radio with DJ Tunez.

Wizkid shared that Asake’s songs have made a strong impression on him, with one track in particular, Remember being his favourite.

Wizkid described Asake as one of the most talented singers in Africa and praised his contribution to African music.

He mentioned that Asake’s music has been a personal favourite for a long time and expressed his hope that one of his songs will be performed at his wedding.
