My New Name Is Mayweather – Carter Efe Brags After Defeating Portable In Boxing Match

Nigerian skitmaker, Carter Efe, has broken silence after defeating singer Portable in a celebrity boxing match held on Friday night in Lagos.

Abia Radio News reports that the fight took place at Chaos in the Ring 4 inside Balmoral Hall at Federal Palace Hotel. Carter Efe walked away with a cash prize of 50 million naira after winning the bout.

The match ended with Carter Efe declared winner by unanimous decision, as all three judges scored it 27–30 in his favour.

After the fight, Carter Efe said he felt like a world-class boxing star and described his performance as very easy. He said he believed he controlled the fight from the first round, adding that Portable struggled after taking several clean hits to the face early in the contest.

He also said that by the second round, Portable was already losing strength and appeared shaky, while the final round saw him unable to continue strongly.

“I am feeling like an international world star. My new name is Carter Mayweather. The fight was so easy. First round, I already damaged his face. Second round, he was shaking. Third round, he fainted,” he said.

Meanwhile, Portable has cried foul after losing the celebrity boxing match to skit maker, Carter Efe.

Abia Radio News reports that Portable spoke during a live video on his Instagram page after the fight on Saturday morning, claiming that the contest was skewed against him.

The singer alleged that Carter Efe was not professional and accused the organisers of failing to count his punches.
