Senator Akobundu Appreciates Knights of St Mulumba, Urges them to Pray for a Peaceful Nigeria

The Senator representing Abia Central Senatorial District, Senator Austin Akobundu has commended leaders and members of The Order of The Knights of St Mulumba Nigeria (KSM) on their commitment to the growth of the Church and charity works.

The Senator made the commendation at the Thanksgiving Mass of the KSM, St Theresa Sub-Council, held at St Theresa’s Catholic Parish, Umuahia, on Sunday, April 26, 2026 in honour of their newly admitted, elevated and elderly members.

Akobundu who was represented at the Mass by Hon. Obinna Oke, said that the KSM has remained at the forefront of promoting the ideals of the Church and has remained committed to its humanitarian services over the years.

While thanking God for the newly admitted, newly elevated, and elderly members of the Order, Senator Austin Akobundu urged them to intensify prayers for the peace and prosperity of Nigeria and for a rancour-free, fair and credible elections come 2027.

The Order of the Knights of St Mulumba (KSM) was founded to “foster Catholic brotherhood, defend the faith, and support the clergy. It acts as a faith-based service organization supporting the underprivileged.
