A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dele Momodu, has replied to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, for making a mockery of his presidential ambition.<\/h2>\n
Naija News<\/strong> reports that Wike, during a media chat with some select media houses on Thursday,\u00a0described Momodu as a \u2018boy\u2019,<\/strong> saying he does not even know his name.<\/p>\n Wike\u2019s comment about Momodu may not be unconnected to Dele Momodu\u2019s consistent criticism of the former Rivers Governor\u2019s political antics.<\/p>\n The veteran journalist had recently claimed that Wike cannot defect to the All Progressives Congress (APC) because he will lose his authority.<\/p>\n In what appears as a response to the claim, Wike said, \u201cThere is this boy, they say he is a journalist. What\u2019s his name? He is big.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n When a journalist said \u201cDele Momodu\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n Wike added, \u201cOkay, I don\u2019t remember all these names. He was never my friend. He ran for president, but he didn\u2019t get one vote.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n In response, Momodu, in a post via Instagram, attributed Wike\u2019s inability to remember his name to alcohol, saying, \u201cI can confirm that too much alcohol can do things, dull the memory and get people emaciated\u2026\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Responding to Wike\u2019s comment that he was unable to secure a single vote during the party\u2019s presidential primary, Dele Momodu added, \u201cOn elections, there\u2019s no difference between the man who wasted billions on seeking power and still lost and the one who spent nothing. They are both losers.
