A former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Babachir Lawal, has vehemently disputed the notion that there is little difference between the administrations of former President Muhammadu Buhari and incumbent President Bola Tinubu.<\/h2>\n
Speaking on Tuesday during an interview session with TVC News, Lawal<\/strong> insisted that equating Buhari\u2019s government with Tinubu\u2019s government in terms of performance is equal to not being truthful.<\/p>\n The former SGF also alleged that Tinubu didn\u2019t win the 2023 presidential election.<\/p>\n The anchor, Nifemi Oguntoye<\/strong>, had said, \u201cIt is the same electoral process in 2019 and 2023, the same administration you served under, I didn\u2019t see quite much difference between what happened then and now.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n However, before the anchor could complete his statement, Lawal interjected, claiming Buhari performed better than President Tinubu.<\/p>\n Naija News<\/strong> reports that the former SGF asked the interviewer to keep shut and be factual with his submissions.<\/p>\n He said, \u201cGive me a break, my friend, look, shut up, give me a break.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cHow can you say Buhari\u2019s electoral processes are the same with Bola Tinubu\u2019s government? What is your problem? Give me a break, be factual for once, Let\u2019s be truthful in what we say.
