Former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has explained why it appears President Bola Tinubu\u2019s popularity is declining.<\/h2>\n
Naija News<\/strong> reports that Omokri, while fielding questions on Channels TV\u2019s Politics Today programme on Wednesday, stated that a dip in the popularity of elected leaders is a common occurrence in Nigeria, and the case of Tinubu was not an exception.<\/p>\n According to him, former President, Muhammadu Buhari\u2019s loss of popularity was even worse than what is happening to Tinubu.<\/p>\n He said, \u201cThat is always the case in Nigeria. The best predictor of the future is the past in every administration. When you have the two-way mark of your first term, when people are feeling the effects of your reform, they are going to have that kind of feeling. But by the time the government gets to the three-way mark, this is history.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cIt happened to General Olusegun Obasanjo. Yar\u2019Adua did not have that because of the sickness. It happened to President Jonathan. It happened to Buhari\u2014 even worse than it\u2019s happening to Bola Tinubu. And they are beginning to see things are getting better.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cLook, your governor was talking about it.
