Popular Nigerian gospel singer, Akinade Ibuoye also known as\u00a0Gaise Baba, has opened up on his journey through purity, addiction and breakthrough in his career.<\/h2>\n
Naija News<\/strong> reports that the singer said he got married as a virgin but admitted that his journey toward maintaining sexual purity was not without struggles.<\/p>\n Speaking in an interview With Chude<\/strong>, Gaise Baba revealed that he started watching pornography at the age of 15 and eventually became addicted, even after making a personal commitment to purity.<\/p>\n \u201cYes, I married as a virgin. I and my wife. It took more time, sir, before we find the way. I was 15 when I started watching bad things. Now, there\u2019s something you call covenant of purity. Something you come into to say, you\u2019re not going to have sex, you get married. I just scribble something. I sign it, go to meet the pastor. I\u2019m like, my covenant of purity.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cIn fact, it was shortly after that I got addicted to porn. I knew that under the right temperature and pressure any man can fall.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Gaise Baba also opened up about his major hit, No Turning Back, featuring Lawrence Oyor.<\/p>\n The song which was released in 2025 gained popularity and marked a turning point in his music career.<\/p>\n He said breakthrough came just two weeks after he lost his mother.<\/p>\n
