Your truth is your truth; and we\u2019re all works in progress. Yes, we don\u2019t say \u2018fat\u2019 anymore; they say \u2018plus size\u2019 or whatever. I still use \u2018fat,\u2019 because if you go to school, the opposite of \u2018thin\u2019 is fat.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHowever, I now realise that I\u2019m a work in progress. I love what I see and who I am.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI\u2019m not a size 12. But I also know that there\u2019s probably nobody like me, and people can\u2019t do what I can do. If the (acting) roles are not coming because people want someone smaller and younger, that\u2019s fine. But I won\u2019t let that stop me from doing what I feel I should be doing.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cI won\u2019t lie, yes, it does sometimes get to me. If I\u2019m in the wrong mood, it might pinch me a bit, because we all have ups and downs. But what I do now is, I delete the comment. I go to anybody who liked that comment, I delete and block them too.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Sharing her opinion on people who body-shame others,\u00a0 the filmmaker added,<em> \u201cPeople who body-shame or hurt people, are also hurt. They have their own insecurities. That\u2019s why you they feel the need to body-shame people. Even when people come to my comment section and say things like, \u2018I\u2019m just trying to help you\u2019, I block them immediately. If you\u2019re trying to help me, then send me a message. Don\u2019t call me out publicly. That way, I believe you just want five minutes of fame. And, I can end that five minutes by deleting and blocking you.
