The Interim National Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Bolaji Abdullahi, has stated that the suffering caused by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Nigeria has made the work of the coalition party easier for the 2027 elections.<\/h2>\n
He submitted that Nigerians who have endured the suffering know they don\u2019t want the\u00a0APC<\/strong>\u00a0again, and the only work left for the ADC is to convince them that they are the credible alternative.<\/p>\n He lamented that the APC brought untold hardship and hunger to Nigerians, and the 2027 elections are a good opportunity to banish the party from the country.<\/p>\n All Facts News<\/strong>\u00a0reports that Abdullahi made the submission on Tuesday during an interview with newsmen in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.<\/p>\n \u201cThe most important thing is that our job is half done with the current hunger in the land. The major task we have is to convince Nigerians that we are the alternative.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cWhat is clear is that Nigerians don\u2019t want APC anymore. Any Nigerian who is suffering today knows that they don\u2019t want APC anymore. We must convince Nigerians that we represent the alternative.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cSo a hungry person knows he doesn\u2019t want to continue to be hungry. A person who can\u2019t afford to pay hospital bills knows that he doesn\u2019t want to continue. So, we don\u2019t have any problems convincing Nigerians that they are suffering.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cWe only have a challenge convincing Nigerians that we are different and that we are going to represent the alternative,\u201d<\/em>\u00a0he said.<\/p>\n Speaking further, the former Minister of Youth and Sports submitted that the need to phase out the APC led to the emergence of the\u00a0ADC<\/strong>. He noted that politicians had to come together to present a common front against the ruling party because the APC scattered other opposition parties when they noticed that Nigerians were no longer interested in them.<\/p>\n He stated that hardship, insecurity, poverty, hunger, and others have increased during the administration of the APC, but the ADC coalition is ready to return peace and comfort to Nigeria.<\/p>\n \u201cWhy we created ADC was that this current administration has increased the suffering of Nigerians as a result of its catastrophic policies and how they increased fuel price, the vulcanizer that needs fuel for his tyre pumping machine knows how much effect it is having on him now.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cParents sending their children to school know how much they give their children to school to eat. N5,000 now is not up to the N500 before the APC came on board. And they caused everything.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cWith the current hunger in the land, they know that Nigerians don\u2019t want them again. What did they do? They saw that the opposition parties that can stand against them in 2027 must be scattered because they won\u2019t be able to stand against them.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cNigerians are no more interested in them anymore, and want to vote for another party. Look at the way they scattered other parties, including PDP, SDP, ANPP, LP. They ruptured them all.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cThis step they took was what made dignified politicians come together to create ADC. We mustn\u2019t let those people who have turned the country into chaos continue to ruin Nigeria; that was why we went to ADC.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n On what Nigerians should expect from ADC, he said: \u201cWhat we can do to earn the people\u2019s trust is we will first eradicate hunger from the nation. I had tasted hunger before, so I know what it feels like to be starved. That being said, this party will first eradicate hunger in the nation.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cSecond, fuel price will be drastically reduced. With the fuel price now, one cannot make profit in business.Thirdly, we will tackle insecurity in the nation.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cKwara State was one of the most peaceful states back then but now, Patigi, Ifelodun, Babanla are now full of kidnappers and bandits.
