<\/figure>\nHis Eminence Eze Eberechukwu Oji reaffirmed that the light of God has taken over the Arochukwu Kingdom, stating that, true to its name, the Kingdom is experiencing the immense mercies of God.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe Light of God has taken over the Kingdom of Arochukwu. This means that good things will always find us here. It signifies that what seems impossible will always become possible for us,\u201d he declared.<\/p>\n He made this statement on Thursday during the commemoration of the first Coronation Anniversary Celebration of his ascension to the throne which began with an open-air crusade held at the Aggrey Primary School Field in Ibom, Arochukwu.<\/p>\n Speaking at the interdenominational service themed \u201cLet There Be Light\u201d (Genesis 1), His Eminence emphasised that with the repositioning of the Kingdom, there is no reason for backwardness or retrogression. He called on the people to forsake all diabolical practices and turn fully to God, their creator and protector.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen we started this journey, we encountered many challenges, but we had hope in God. Since the beginning, we have not lost anyone, and there is unity in our Kingdom. God has shown Himself, and we thank Him for life and peace in Arochukwu. We want to demonstrate to the world that we, as a people, worship God. The light of God is shining in our Kingdom, which means we must all worship Him and abandon all practices that do not align with His light. Happiness, development, unity, peace, and harmony are present in Arochukwu Kingdom.\u201d<\/p>\n Guest Pastor Amass highlighted the significance of light in homes and the Arochukwu Kingdom, urging the people to join His Eminence Eze Eberechukwu Oji in the \u2018Light Up Aro\u2019 initiative to pray for the continued light of God in the Kingdom.<\/p>\n Nnadozie Udensi, the President-General of Nzuko Arochukwu Worldwide, described the coronation journey as a period of trials that has brought the Kingdom closer to God. He acknowledged the leadership of His Eminence, noting the advancements made in education, healthcare, and infrastructure.<\/p>\n \u201cWe witnessed the changes happening. The leadership of Arochukwu Kingdom, led by His Eminence Eze Eberechukwu Oji and other notable traditional institutions, has emphasised the importance of peace. Our prayers were for the restoration of peace in the Kingdom, and we recognise the hand of God at work here.\u201d<\/p>\n He commended Eze Aro for ensuring that the Arochukwu Kingdom experiences light in education, infrastructure, and health. He mentioned the \u2018Light Up Aro\u2019 initiative, which began at the village entrance and extends to various locations.<\/p>\n \u201cYou can see the ongoing construction at Amaikpe, including health centres and more, initiated by His Eminence Eze Eberechukwu Oji. He has many plans to bring even more light to the Kingdom. Without peace, development is unattainable. We need greater participation from UmuAro, and we appreciate everyone working hard to ensure the progress of our Kingdom. A significant change has come to Arochukwu, and we give all glory to God.\u201d<\/p>\n Eze Evans, the President of the South East Christians Mission, encouraged the people of Arochukwu Kingdom to remain focused and assured them that they are in capable hands. He stated that the anniversary celebration reflects God\u2019s presence in the Kingdom and noted the grace under which His Eminence has led, resulting in renewed development.<\/p>\n Architect Mazi Obi Chijioke, the Chairman of the Planning Committee, shared with Newsleverage that the purpose of the Coronation Anniversary was not only to celebrate but also to reflect on the journey so far and to encourage support for ongoing efforts.<\/p>\n He called on UmuAro worldwide to unite in supporting the leadership of His Eminence Eze Eberechukwu Oji and the developmental initiatives he is implementing in the Kingdom.<\/p>\n The event was enhanced by special musical performances from the Anglican Communion Choir and the Christ Ascension Choir, as well as prayers led by Pastor Chaplain JC Okoro and others. <\/p>\n A highlight of the event was a medical outreach that provided care for the community.
