Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu, PhD<\/a>, to officially join the political camp of the current Governor, Dr. Alex Otti.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Led by its Contact &amp; Mobilization Chairman, Chief Jerry Kalu (popularly known as Oshimmiri), the delegation paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Ude Oko Chukwu in his country home, where they appealed to him to align with the current administration for the overall progress and stability of the state.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Chief Kalu, while speaking at the meeting, praised the former Deputy Governor for his political maturity and the boldness to openly support Governor Alex Otti in spite of party differences. He noted that such a gesture is a demonstration of statesmanship and true leadership, urging him to take the next step by officially joining the Governor\u2019s team.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>According to Chief Kalu, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/abianewscentral.com.ng\/abia\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Abia <\/a>State needs experienced hands like yours, and you have already shown commitment to the people\u2019s welfare by supporting good governance.
