This shows an increase of 19.59 per cent as against the sum of $2.696bn recorded for the first half of the year 2024,<\/em>\u201d Ayeni stated.<\/p>\n<p>The NEPC boss highlighted that the upward trend was consistent from the start of the year. In the first quarter of 2025, non-oil exports were valued at $1.791bn, a 24.75 per cent rise compared to the $1.436bn recorded in Q1 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Export volumes in the same quarter climbed to 2.416 million metric tonnes, up 24.3 per cent from 1.937 million metric tonnes shipped in the corresponding period last year.<\/p>\n<p>Ayeni said the report provided a comprehensive overview of the council\u2019s achievements, challenges and future prospects, stressing that the steady growth reflected Nigeria\u2019s deepening footprint in non-oil export markets.<\/p>\n<p>She expressed optimism that the upward momentum would be sustained in the second half of the year, with continued focus on expanding market access, improving product quality, and strengthening Nigeria\u2019s presence in emerging economies.<\/p>\n<p><!-- CONTENT END 4 --><\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<p><span class=\"copyright\"><strong>\u00a9 2025 Naija News, a division of Polance Media Inc.
