Austin Nwachukwu, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), and others to court over the conduct of the state congress.<\/h2>\n<p>The plaintiffs allege that the August 31, 2024, congress that produced Nwachukwu and other executives was \u201cmarred by exclusion and illegality,\u201d insisting it violated the Electoral Act, 2022, and the party\u2019s constitution.<\/p>\n<p>Led by Lambert Eze, the aggrieved members accused the party of unlawfully excluding duly elected delegates from Ideato North and South Local Government Areas during the exercise.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-3 ai-track\" data-ai=\"WzMsMCwiSXNhYWMiLCIiLDRd\" style=\"margin: 8px auto; text-align: center; display: block; clear: both;\">\n<a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLSd3GiRw0g6bOS3kAtHb1Yhc5Jic6iTkM9pA5DhIB13uZgDpGQ\/viewform?usp=sharing&amp;ouid=102633326415294296882\"><noscript><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1026109\" src=\"https:\/\/www.naijanews.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/WhatsApp-Image-2025-08-09-at-16.23.48.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"672\" height=\"560\"\/><\/noscript><\/a><\/div>\n<p>They are seeking an order to nullify the congress, restrain current officials from parading themselves as executives, and compel the conduct of a fresh, democratically held congress that includes all qualified delegates.<\/p>\n<p>Also joined in the suit are the PDP national body and 10 other individuals, including caretaker leaders of the party in Ideato North and South LGAs, Hon. Chris Ozoemenam and Hon. Dr. Sylvester Durukwuaku.<\/p>\n<p>The matter, marked FHC\/OW\/CS\/51\/2025, was filed through their counsel, K.U.
