Both are nominated for Album of the Year, Burna Boy for No Sign of Weakness and Davido for 5ive.<\/p>\n<p>Their hit songs also earned recognition in the Song of the Year and Best Collaboration categories.<\/p>\n<p>Shallipopi received four nominations, including Artiste of the Year and Song of the Year for his track Laho.<\/p>\n<p>Ayra Starr received two nominations and will compete for Artiste of the Year alongside Davido, Burna Boy, and Morocco\u2019s El Grande Toto.<\/p>\n<p>Other top nominees include South Africa\u2019s DJ Maphorisa, Morocco\u2019s El Grande Toto, Senegal\u2019s Mia Guiss\u00e9, and Ghana\u2019s Moliy, each with five nominations.<\/p>\n<p>Tanzania\u2019s Diamond Platnumz, South Africa\u2019s Tyla, and Eswatini\u2019s Uncle Waffles earned four nominations apiece.<\/p>\n<p>Artistes from the African diaspora also feature prominently. French-Malian singer Aya Nakamura, UK-based Darkoo, and Canadian-Congolese Deborah Lukalu are among the female nominees.
