He campaigned on the promise of a new political order\u2014one that would challenge the status quo and deliver a \u2018New Nigeria.\u2019<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cToday, however, we must ask: Whither Peter Obi? Is he now politically stranded or ideologically orphaned?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The APC spokesman described Obi\u2019s recent alliance with the African Democratic Congress as a \u201cstillborn coalition,\u201d arguing it portrayed him as a politician driven by ambition rather than ideology.<\/p>\n<p>Oladejo further stated, <em>\u201cIndeed, Mr. Obi may now be reaping the bitter fruits of political prostitution. Having, at different times, been in bed with the PDP, seduced the Labour Party, and now romanced the hollow structure of the ADC, he has left behind a trail of alliances formed not on principle but on convenience.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The party also dismissed the \u201cObidient Movement,\u201d saying it had fizzled out without structure or lasting impact.<\/p>\n<p>In contrast, the Lagos APC praised its own record, claiming that under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the ruling party was delivering pragmatic governance focused on economic revitalisation, policy reforms, and national unity.<\/p>\n<p>He added, <em>\u201cAs we look to 2027, the question is no longer whether Peter Obi will contest. The real question is: does he have a home to contest from?
