Tinubu <\/a>President But He Has Derailed – El-Rufai” style=”margin-bottom: 15px” \/><\/div>\nFormer Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, has stated that the government of President Bola Tinubu <\/a>is not working in the best interest of Nigerians.<\/h2>\nNaija News<\/strong> reports that El-Rufai<\/strong>, who said he made contributions to Tinubu’s emergence as Nigeria’s President, stated that Tinubu <\/a>has derailed.<\/p>\nSpeaking on Sunday during an interview appearance on Channels Television, the former Governor hinted that some people don’t want him to criticize the Tinubu <\/a>government.<\/p>\nHe submitted that the purpose of government is to get things done for the people and the country, but President Tinubu<\/strong> has failed in that regard.<\/p>\n\u201cEveryone knows that I am one of the founding fathers of APC and also knows that I made some contributions in bringing Asiwaju (Tinubu) into the presidency.<\/em><\/p>\n\u201cIf Asiwaju\u2019s government has derailed and is not doing what he should do, he is not serving the interests of Nigerians, so I should not criticise him? Is that the logic in Nigeria now?<\/em><\/p>\n\u201cThe purpose of government is to get things done for the people and the country,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\nMeanwhile,\u00a0El-Rufai, has claimed that his successor, Uba Sani<\/strong>, is responsible for the attack on him and other opposition figures in the state.<\/p>\nNaija News<\/strong> reports that chaos erupted at the official inauguration of a transition committee jointly set up by opposition parties in Kaduna State on Saturday, with suspected political thugs invading the event.<\/p>\nEl-Rufai and other participants were attacked and their properties vandalised.<\/p>\n
