The Abia <\/a>State Governor, Dr. Alex <\/a>Otti, has called on Ndi Ngwa in the diaspora to deepen their partnership with his administration in driving a new era of development in the state.<\/p>\n Governor Otti, represented by his Chief of Staff, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, at the Ngwa Convention held at the Hyatt Regency The Arch, St. Louis, Missouri, on Saturday, August 30, 2025, urged the diaspora community to see themselves as key partners in transforming Abia <\/a>into a hub of prosperity, stressing that their expertise, resources, and commitment to their roots are critical in sustaining ongoing reforms.<\/p>\n He highlighted visible strides his administration has made in infrastructure, healthcare, education, security, and industrialization over the past 27 months, noting that more than 350 roads have been constructed or rehabilitated, salaries and pensions are paid promptly every month, and Abia <\/a>has emerged as one of the safest states in Nigeria with the launch of Operation Crush and other security measures.<\/p>\n The Governor, while thanking the diaspora for their consistent support in health, education, and community development and for not neglecting the home in their comfort zone, described the efforts of the diaspora as collaborative.<\/p>\n \u201cEven in the midst of your high accomplishments and comfort abroad, you have continued to care for your homeland.
