Four male adults have died in an accident that occured near Enuda High School, Abiriba in Ohafia local government area of Abia <\/a>State.<\/p>\n Five other persons also sustained serious injuries in the accident which occurred when a truck transporting tiles and doors from Port Harcourt to Abiriba crashed.<\/p>\n The impact of the accident caused the truck to break into three parts, resulting in the death of four persons.<\/p>\n While some residents attributed the accident to over speeding, others claimed that the vehicle suffered brake failure before crashing.<\/p>\n The injured victims were evacuated to the hospital in Abiriba by officials of FRSC and Abia <\/a>State Road Traffic Management Agency, ARTMA, for immediate medical attention.<\/p>\n Confirming the accident, the Sector of Federal Road Safety Commission, FRSC Abia <\/a>State Sector Command, Mrs Ngozi Ezeoma said, \u201cThere was a crash involving nine male adults, and four male adults out of the nine regrettably lost their lives while the rest were injured.\u201d<\/p>\n Also speaking, the Chairman of Ohafia LGA, Eleanya Ojuu Kalu, described the loss of the young men as a tragedy to Abiriba and Ohafia at large.<\/p>\n Kalu also thanked the DPO Abiriba Police Division, the Zonal Commander of Federal Road Safety Corps and Abia <\/a>Road Traffic and Safety Management Agency, ARTSMA, for their prompt arrival at the accident scene when they were alerted.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
