Abia <\/a>State Governor, Alex <\/a>Otti has said that members of the opposition who are accusing his administration of corruption, are actually interested in settlement, negotiation, recognition or preparing for election.<\/p>\n He stated this in Aba on Thursday during the Aba Stakeholders\u2019 Security Trust Fund raising luncheon.<\/p>\n Otti, who addressed the Aba business community, reiterated that his administration recognizes security as the bedrock of development, and assured them that no Abia <\/a>State money, including the funds realised for security, will be mismanaged under his watch.<\/p>\n The Abia <\/a>Governor, who slammed the claims by his opponents that Abia <\/a>State money is missing, told Abia <\/a>people to \u201cgo and sleep\u201d as their money is safe and can\u2019t go missing under his watch.<\/p>\n \u201cI can assure you that in Abia, there is nothing like opposition. You may see a few people who want to get recognition. Some of them want to be settled.<\/p>\n \u201cSome of them want negotiation. Some of them are preparing to run an election. So, they want to be relevant,\u201d Gov. Otti stated.<\/p>\n He announced that the newly reconstructed Port Harcourt road Aba would be commissioned on the 3rd day of October alongside six other roads by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu <\/a>in Aba.<\/p>\n
