Iheanyi Frank Chinasa, on his recent appointment, pledged their full support for him and the ongoing reforms of Governor <a href=\"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.com.ng\/news\/Alex\">Alex <\/a>Chioma Otti, OFR.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The group, led by its President-General, Mr. Victor Ogbonnaya, paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Chinasa on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at the <a href=\"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.com.ng\/news\/abia\">Abia <\/a>House, Abuja. During the visit, they described his elevation as well-deserved and expressed confidence that it would serve as a stepping stone to greater responsibilities in service to <a href=\"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.com.ng\/news\/abia\">Abia <\/a>State and Nigeria.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Ogbonnaya also briefed the Liaison Officer on preparations for the maiden <a href=\"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.com.ng\/news\/abia\">Abia <\/a>Day Celebration scheduled for October in Abuja, calling for Governor Otti\u2019s presence at the historic event. He further assured Hon. Chinasa that ADO would continue to partner with the State Government in promoting unity, culture, and development among Abians in the FCT.<\/p>\n<div class=\"code-block code-block-2\" style=\"margin: 8px 0; clear: both;\">\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<div class=\"kvezio kvezio-clearfix kvezio-post-middle kvezio-float-center kvezio-align-center kvezio-column-1\">\n<div id=\"kvezio-178990-1352917621\" class=\"kvezio-container kvezio-type-image \" itemscope=\"\" itemtype=\"https:\/\/schema.org\/WPAdBlock\" data-adid=\"178990\" data-type=\"image\"><img decoding=\"async\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" class=\"kvezio-image\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/afnews.sumofunnel.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/cover-1-scaled.jpg?w=1170&ssl=1\" alt=\"news paper\"\/><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Other speakers drawn from <a href=\"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.com.ng\/news\/abia\">Abia <\/a>North, <a href=\"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.com.ng\/news\/abia\">Abia <\/a>Central, and <a href=\"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.com.ng\/news\/abia\">Abia <\/a>South, as well as the women and youth wings of ADO, commended Governor Otti for his people-oriented policies and reaffirmed their total loyalty to his administration. They also urged the Liaison Officer to help facilitate requests\u2076 including free transportation for Abians in Abuja and a permanent civic center to serve as a hub for social and economic activities.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>In his response, Hon. Chinasa thanked ADO for the solidarity visit and pledged to table their requests before the Governor and relevant authorities. He emphasized that the welfare of Abians in Abuja remains his top priority and assured them of his readiness to work closely with the group in advancing Governor Otti\u2019s transformation agenda.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Importantly, Hon. Chinasa called on all Abians in the FCT and across Nigeria to take advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise by obtaining their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) or updating their existing details.
