When Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, tied the knot with Temi Otedola, daughter of billionaire businessman Femi Otedola, many in Nigeria\u2019s elite circles questioned why one of the nation\u2019s most prominent families would give their daughter\u2019s hand to a musician.<\/h2>\n

But at the couple\u2019s white wedding in Iceland, Africa\u2019s richest man,\u00a0Aliko Dangote,<\/strong> provided an answer that silenced critics by confirming Mr Eazi as an entrepreneur with businesses across 18 countries on the continent.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t know of any musician who is an entrepreneur, very calm and loyal like you,\u201d <\/em>Dangote acknowledged while toasting the groom.<\/p>\n

\u201cTosin, you know you are a part-time singer, you are an entrepreneur. In fact, when I was with you yesterday, we did not talk about music, we were just talking about business. I never knew you had businesses in 18 countries in Africa. I must really congratulate you for being a great guy. I\u2019m very proud of you.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Dangote went further to describe Eazi as the kind of son-in-law who could someday, alongside Temi, join the ranks of the world\u2019s wealthiest couples.<\/p>\n

The bride\u2019s father, Femi Otedola,<\/strong> further confirmed this narrative when he gifted the newlyweds a copy of his new book, Making It Big. The present, described as both counsel and a keepsake, carried a message of building wealth, vision, and resilience together.<\/p>\n

Inside Mr Eazi\u2019s Business Empire<\/h2>\n

2- Zagadat Capital \u2013\u00a0<\/strong>Mr Eazi\u2019s venture capital firm invests in startups in tech, media, and entertainment. Notable investments include:<\/p>\n

3- pawaPay \u2013 <\/strong>A pan-African mobile payments company.<\/p>\n

4- Thrive Agric<\/strong> \u2013 an agri-tech startup connecting farmers to investors.<\/p>\n

5- BetPawa<\/strong> \u2013 A popular online betting platform.<\/p>\n

6- Street Banker<\/strong> \u2013 A financial inclusion project for underserved communities.<\/p>\n

7- Choplife Gaming & Choplife SoundSystem \u2013 <\/strong>Expanding beyond music, Eazi launched Choplife Gaming in 2022, a pan-African lottery and gaming company. His Choplife SoundSystem blends music, events, and lifestyle branding into a cultural business model.<\/p>\n

Although less publicised, the singer has confirmed investments in real estate projects across Nigeria and Ghana, as well as hospitality ventures linked to his Choplife brand.<\/p>\n

Through Zagadat Capital, Eazi also holds stakes in several fintech firms driving financial inclusion across Africa.<\/p>\n
