Sheila Courage<\/strong>, the estranged wife of Israel DMW<\/a>, has revealed that her decision to leave her marriage was met with surprise from her family.<\/h2>\n

Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that Israel and Sheila\u2019s marriage ended in divorce after less than a year, with both parties accusing each other of abuse and disrespect.<\/p>\n

The beauty and fashion influencer in an interview with Instablog 9ja explained that while her mother was initially speechless, her parents ultimately supported her decision.<\/p>\n

She described their response as understanding, trusting her judgment, and prioritising her well-being.<\/p>\n

According to Sheila, her parents encouraged her to take the space she needed, showing unwavering support despite the emotional difficulty of the situation.<\/p>\n

She said: \u201cI think they thought I was joking. They thought because, I mean, before this happened, we had previously been separated, you know, like twice inside the eight months. How many months again? Nine months. So, I think my parents were shocked when I mentioned it to them. I told my parents, like, you know, at the same time, I told my mom. <\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cMy mom was just speechless. Like, okay. Obviously, no parent wants their child to, you know, go through that. No parent is going to encourage that for a child. But every parent loves a child enough to support. My parents, let me not say everybody. My parents love me enough to support my decision, and they trust me enough to not make wrong decisions on certain things also.<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cSo, they were obviously shocked. But I think for the most part, it was more like, maybe she doesn\u2019t need space again. She needs a break. And that\u2019s how they took it. And they\u2019re like, okay, if that\u2019s what you need right now, if you need, you know, that\u2019s it. So, my parents are everly supportive. As long as they don\u2019t be clever, they do. They\u2019re always, always supportive. And I really am grateful to God that I had that. Maybe it\u2019s going to be more difficult. But for me, there was no support from my house yet.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
