According to the police, the suspects, identified as 25-year-old Mathew Adewole of Na\u2019ibawa Quarters and 31-year-old Mukhtar Muhammad of Unguwa Uku Quarters, were arrested on September 11 at Na\u2019ibawa Quarters in Kano after intelligence-led operations.<\/p>\n
The command revealed that Adewole admitted to attacking the artiste, while the stolen money was traced to Muhammad\u2019s account.<\/p>\n
Both suspects have since been transferred to the Lagos State Police Command for further investigation and possible prosecution.<\/p>\n
The Kano Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Bakori, praised the operatives for their work and assured residents that the command would continue to strengthen intelligence and community policing to curb crime.<\/p>\n
