President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, has expressed concerns regarding the upcoming AGN National elections.<\/h2>\n

Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that Rollas, who has served as president since August 2017, took to Instagram to share a photo of himself posing in front of another picture taken with the late former President, Muhammadu Buhari.<\/p>\n

In his caption, the Nollywood actor alleged a conspiracy surrounding the upcoming election.<\/p>\n

He wrote, \u201cI laugh aloud on the conspiracy surrounding the upcoming AGN National Elections!<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cHow a former National President who didn\u2019t leave a pin behind for the Guild is clamouring for the probe of a government that has proved everybody wrong!<\/em><\/p>\n

\u201cThings are happening oh.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Meanwhile, actress\u00a0Rita Daniels Chukwuji<\/a>, mother of Nollywood star Regina Daniels, has declared her intention to contest for the presidency<\/strong> of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN).<\/p>\n

She will face Abubakar Yakubu, the current national secretary of the guild, in the race to succeed Emeka Rollas, whose tenure ends in December 2025 after serving since 2017.<\/p>\n

Rita\u2019s manifesto was released on the guild\u2019s official Instagram page on Thursday, where she pledged to run a leadership that will protect, value, and empower members of the guild.<\/p>\n

With close to two decades in Nollywood, she has featured in several movies and mentored young actors.<\/p>\n

Yakubu, who has been the AGN national secretary for six years, had earlier declared his interest in February.<\/p>\n

He promised to prioritize members\u2019 welfare, better remuneration, and improved working conditions while creating opportunities for growth in the creative industry.<\/p>\n
