{"id":235960,"date":"2025-09-24T16:43:54","date_gmt":"2025-09-24T16:43:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.name.ng\/news\/nnamdi-kanu-igbo-group-protests-at-abia-govt-house-presents-complaints-to-otti\/"},"modified":"2025-09-24T16:43:54","modified_gmt":"2025-09-24T16:43:54","slug":"nnamdi-kanu-igbo-group-protests-at-abia-govt-house-presents-complaints-to-otti","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.com.ng\/news\/nnamdi-kanu-igbo-group-protests-at-abia-govt-house-presents-complaints-to-otti\/","title":{"rendered":"Nnamdi Kanu: Igbo group protests at Abia govt house, presents complaints to Otti"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">\n<p>A group known as Igbo Elders Forum has appealed to Governor <a href=\"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.com.ng\/news\/Alex\">Alex <\/a>Otti to liaise with other South East Governors to secure the release of IPOB founder, Nnamdi Kanu.<\/p>\n<p>The group which arrived the <a href=\"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.com.ng\/news\/abia\">Abia <\/a>State Government House, Umuahia, Wednesday morning, cautioned that the deteriorating health of Nnamdi Kanu should not be ignored.<\/p>\n<p>The Spokesperson of the group, Emeka Ezebuiro and other members of the group who addressed the press in front of <a href=\"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.com.ng\/news\/abia\">Abia <\/a>Government House Umuahia, said they embarked on a peaceful journey to submit their appeals to Governor <a href=\"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.com.ng\/news\/Alex\">Alex <\/a>Otti.<\/p>\n<p>The group expressed surprise that Nnamdi Kanu has not been released or allowed access to adequate medical care, at the same time negotiations are going on with armed bandits in the North.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe came to register our annoyance and our feelings. Our son is still in detention and is very sick yet they are denying him access to medical care.<\/p>\n<p>\u201d Why are they negotiating with armed robbers and bandits but still holding him,?\u201d Ezebuiro frowned.<\/p>\n<p>The Spokesperson said that Igbo Elders Forum will take their messages to other South East Governors, stressing that a united front by the Governors can help in securing Kanu\u2019s freedom.<\/p>\n<p>Also, Igbo Think Tank North America, in a demand letter it wrote to Igbo Governors and Igbo political leaders, alleged a silent genocide against the Igbo youths.<\/p>\n<p>The group, which spoke through its President, Dunkwu Agbambu, called on Igbo leaders to protect Igbo land and the youths from killings, invasion, destruction and other forms of attacks.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><script async defer crossorigin=\"anonymous\" src=\"https:\/\/connect.facebook.net\/en_US\/sdk.js#xfbml=1&amp;version=v9.0&amp;appId=420332301344305\" nonce=\"sm97MhBO\" type=\"pmdelayedscript\" data-cfasync=\"false\" data-no-optimize=\"1\" data-no-defer=\"1\" data-no-minify=\"1\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A group known as Igbo Elders Forum has appealed to Governor Alex Otti to liaise with other South East Governors to secure the release of IPOB founder, Nnamdi Kanu.
