Abdullahi said more than 140 Nigerians have been killed in Zamfara and Katsina in the last two months, with Amnesty International reporting over 10,000 lives lost nationwide to attacks since May 2025.<\/p>\n
He described the situation as \u201cclear evidence, written in blood and piles of innocent bodies, of a government that has lost control.\u201d<\/p>\n
The party also queried Tinubu\u2019s absence at the passing-out parade of 874 officers at the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) in Kaduna, accusing the president of \u201cmisplaced priorities\u201d for choosing to attend the commissioning of the renovated National Arts Theatre in Lagos instead.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat all this signals is that this administration is plagued by misplaced priorities,\u201d Abdullahi said.<\/p>\n
The ADC called on the president to declare a state of emergency in Zamfara to halt the killings and restore the confidence of citizens.<\/p>\n
