Former Governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, has officially announced his intention to contest for the position of National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).<\/p>\n
Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that Lamido made this known in a post via his verified Facebook page on Monday.<\/p>\n Lamido, a former Minister of Foreign Affairs, said he would visit the PDP national headquarters, Wadata Plaza in Abuja, to purchase his nomination form.<\/p>\n The former Governor, who is also one of the PDP\u2019s founding members, said his commitment to democracy and resolve to restore the major opposition in the country to its former status are unstoppable.<\/p>\n He added that his decision to contest was driven by the need to prepare the party for future elections.<\/p>\n He said, \u201cBy the grace of God, I shall today Monday 27th October 2025 by 11am be at Wadata Plaza, the National Headquarters of our very party, PEOPLES DEMOCRATIC PARTY to purchase the nomination form to run for the office of the National Chairman of the Party.
