Nigerian Grammy-nominated singer, David Adeleke, known as Davido<\/strong>, has said the choice of Akwa Ibom as the first state in Nigeria to host his music concert after 14 years on stage is due to the state\u2019s standard facilities.<\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that Davido made this known while speaking at a pre-concert reception hosted by Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno and the Senate President, Senator Godwill Akpabio, in Uyo, on Sunday.<\/p>\n The \u2018Feel It\u2019 crooner said Akwa Ibom was at the top of the list while they were looking for a state in Africa to host the music concert.<\/p>\n According to him, everything about Akwa Ibom State is beautiful, stressing that if all states in the country were like the state, he would have been comfortable touring around the whole country.<\/p>\n Davido also commended Governor Eno for his good works in the state, especially in maintaining peace and security and for providing platforms for the youths to excel.<\/p>\n He said, \u201cWhen we were looking around Africa, five places came, and Akwa Ibom was at the top of the list. A lot of people are flying from other states that don\u2019t have this type of facility.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cI am excited, it is(the Akwa Ibom tour) is best of its kind. We toured America already, and it was a great success, and we were looking for a good facility around Africa, and Akwa Ibom is one of the places that we found out.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201dYou have a standard facility, that\u2019s why we are starting here.
