A cyclist, Wisdom Chisom who took off from Lagos on a bicycle, has arrived Nvosi, the country home of Abia <\/a>State Governor, Alex <\/a>Otti, after a six-day ride from Lagos.<\/p>\n Chisom, who left Lagos on Monday last week, arrived Abia <\/a>on Saturday and headed to the Abia <\/a>Governor\u2019s house in Nvosi, Isiala Ngwa South LGA.<\/p>\n The rider who is a native of Nunya, Isuikwuato LGA of Abia, was introduced to Otti on Monday after the State\u2019s weekly Executive Council meeting.<\/p>\n Explaining his decision, the Bicycle rider said he took the risk of riding on the long distance from Lagos to Abia <\/a>State, to show his appreciation to Governor Otti for the 11.5-KM Nunya- Eluama road his administration is reconstructing in his village and his other projects in Abia.<\/p>\n He acknowledged that it was dangerous riding from Lagos to Abia <\/a>State on Bicycle, considering the security and general road safety concern but explained he damned the risks in order to meet the Governor.<\/p>\n Receiving the rider in his home, the Abia <\/a>State Governor said his priority was to improve the welfare of Abia <\/a>people and to make them happy.<\/p>\n Otti who encouraged Wisdom Chisom to remain a good citizen of the state , said his attention was drawn to the development by the State\u2019s Commissioner for Youth and Sports.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
