A member of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bode George<\/strong>, has revealed that former Governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, risks expulsion from the party.<\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that Lamido had threatened to sue the PDP over failure to secure the form for the National Chairmanship position.<\/p>\n However, Bode George, while responding to questions in an interview on Arise Television on Thursday, said Lamido must respect the party rules, stressing he was absent during the last National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the party.<\/p>\n He said, \u201cLamido knows the procedure. He\u2019s one of the founding fathers of this party. He didn\u2019t attend the last National Executive Committee, NEC, meeting.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cIn terms of hierarchy, NEC is the next level to the national convention. Decisions at NEC are expected to be followed to the bone.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cLamido didn\u2019t attend that meeting. Now, at the end of the meeting, the date for the collection and returning of the forms was stated. And he went to the party\u2019s headquarters on the last day to return the forms.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cLamido is not a young man, he\u2019s my friend and a founding father of this party. I don\u2019t know all this shenanigans going on all over the place.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cWhat the organisers of the convention are trying to do is ensure a seamless convention.
