God has finally given us the Taraba Government House without going to the polls,\u201d<\/em> El-Sudi said.<\/p>\n<p>He added that the development was \u201ca clear testimony that God\u2019s time has come for the APC in Taraba,\u201d noting that the party had consistently laid the groundwork for such a political realignment.<\/p>\n<p>]El-Sudi disclosed that plans were underway for a grand reception ceremony in Jalingo to officially welcome Governor Kefas into the APC fold.<\/p>\n<p>He revealed that the event would attract high-profile dignitaries, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, members of the APC National Working Committee (NWC), and prominent stakeholders from across the Northeast geopolitical zone.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cPreparations are in top gear. The reception will be a historic event in Taraba, as we formally receive the governor into our party,\u201d<\/em> the chairman said.<\/p>\n<h2>Kefas Has Met With Top APC Leaders<\/h2>\n<p>The APC chairman confirmed that Governor Kefas had already held a series of consultative meetings in Abuja with senior APC figures, including President <a href=\"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.com.ng\/news\/tinubu\">Tinubu <\/a>and the national leadership of the party, before finalising his decision to cross over.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cHe has met those who matter, from the President to the national chairman. He was advised to engage with the APC structure in Taraba, and we are ready to welcome him,\u201d<\/em> El-Sudi disclosed.<\/p>\n<p>According to him, the governor\u2019s defection is expected to boost collaboration between the Taraba State Government and the Federal Government, which he said would \u201cusher in a new era of progress and development.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Addressing concerns among long-serving APC members, El-Sudi assured them that no one would be sidelined after the governor\u2019s entry into the party.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cOur party remains democratic.
