Nigerian singer, Aituaje Iruobe, popularly known as Waje<\/strong>, has opened up about her preferences when it comes to choosing a life partner.<\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that the 45-year-old singer, while featuring in a recent episode of \u2018The Honest Bunch \u2018 podcast, said she cannot date or marry a man who is struggling financially.<\/p>\n Giving a reason for her decision, the mother of one explained that she is no longer in her 20s and does not have the time and patience to grow together with any man.<\/p>\n She said, \u201cI can\u2019t marry someone who is not successful, and here\u2019s why: first of all, I\u2019m not in my 20s so we are not growing together.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cA man leads, he leads by selling aspirations to me. I have to aspire to see him lead. And if he can\u2019t inspire me to grow, we can\u2019t be partners. So, success is part of it. Faith and emotional intelligence are also part of it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Speaking further, Waje revealed that she cannot date a younger man, stressing that they would not be a good match.<\/p>\n She added, \u201cWe will have issues. I\u2019m very pragmatic. I sometimes I have to hold myself with my siblings, my friends, and my family members. Imagine if it was a husband? He would get tired. I will be treating him like my child.
