Popular Nigerian music producer and Mavin Records boss, Michael Collins Ajereh,<\/strong> popularly known as Don Jazzy<\/strong>, has revealed that despite his success and fame, he still struggles with fears about love, relationships, and marriage.<\/p>\n The 42-year-old hitmaker, who was previously married in 2003 but divorced two years later, spoke candidly in a recent interview where he discussed his evolving views on love, faith, and personal growth.<\/p>\n \u201cThere are good ones, there are bad ones. My parents were madly in love before my mom died. We see examples like that that make you believe in relationships and crave it and want something like that,<\/em>\u201d Don Jazzy said on HabbyFX\u2019s YouTube channel on Monday, November 3.<\/p>\n The Mavin boss noted that while love stories like that of his late parents inspire him, public relationship scandals on social media have made him cautious about commitment.<\/p>\n \u201cWe do have some bad examples, coming from both sides, both men and women. Some men are violent, chronic cheats,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd then when it comes out on social media, relationship breakups, people washing their dirty linen in public, it now gives me fear.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n He admitted that vulnerability in relationships doesn\u2019t come easy for him anymore.<\/p>\n \u201cYou try to be vulnerable with one person out there. I am still waiting for God. They said when you find the one, you will have butterflies in your stomach,\u201d<\/em> he added with a smile.<\/p>\n Don Jazzy also revealed that financial fears play a major role in his hesitation to remarry, citing examples of men losing fortunes after divorce settlements.<\/p>\n \u201cA man has to lose half of all that he has worked for in his life, that\u2019s those ones that don\u2019t have a prenup, like in America,\u201d he <\/em>explained.<\/p>\n \u201cYou see some people who have struggled all their life, but when they divorce, they have to split the properties. All those things used to scare me. The money that I have amassed is for my generation.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n When asked if he had given love another chance, the music mogul admitted to having dated after his divorce but confirmed that he is currently single.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019ve actually dated before. Currently, I\u2019m single. Na fear, though God\u2019s time is the best. I just want the right person. At the same time, I\u2019m not sure if I\u2019m the right person for somebody\u2019s daughter,<\/em>\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Reflecting on his personal journey, Don Jazzy said he has grown emotionally and spiritually, and continues to work on becoming a better person.<\/p>\n \u201cAm I the ideal partner? Am I disciplined enough to be with one person? As I am working on myself, I pray to God on how to make myself a better person,\u201d<\/em> he said.<\/p>\n \u201cOver the years, I have become a better person. When I was young, I was a menace, so I am getting older, I am getting wiser.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n When asked about his favourite artists, Don Jazzy said it was impossible to pick one because he draws inspiration from many.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s not as easy as that for me because, as a creative person, or like a music producer, like that siren I\u2019m hearing now is giving me an idea for beats,\u201d<\/em> he said with a laugh.<\/p>\n \u201cI like Johnny Drille; he\u2019s very talented. He\u2019s one of those artists who is an all-rounder. But in the country, the people who have pushed the culture forward are Wizkid, Davido, Burna, 2Face, D\u2019banj, and Olamide.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that the Mavin CEO also spoke about his daily routine, revealing that he now spends most of his time indoors and relies on his team to handle operations.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I was younger, I was pretty much moving around, and my days were more out there. But now, I delegate. I\u2019m an improver now,\u201d <\/em>he said.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m always indoors, inside my house, inside the office, or inside the studio, and they\u2019re all close by. I have people in place who are capable of putting out fires once they arise.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n He stressed the importance of teamwork in his business operations. \u201cOne can\u2019t do it by themselves. Even God is all-powerful, but He can\u2019t do everything by Himself,\u201d<\/em> he added.<\/p>\n When asked about his faith, Don Jazzy said he still believes in God but is more careful about organised religion.<\/p>\n \u201cI believe in God, by birth. But nowadays, I get sceptical about churches with how things are now.
