The North West All Progressives Congress (APC)<\/strong> Youth League has distanced itself from a self-styled coalition of APC support groups in Kebbi State, describing it as \u201cunregistered, unrecognized, and lacking legitimacy\u201d within the party\u2019s structure.<\/p>\n Speaking at a press briefing in Kaduna on Wednesday, the league\u2019s National Coordinator, Comrade Aliyu Suleiman, said the purported coalition had no foundation within the APC at any level \u2013 ward, local government, state, or national.<\/p>\n He said: \u201cThis so-called coalition has never contributed to party activities, never mobilized a voter, and has no record of grassroots engagement. Its only function is to exploit Senator Bagudu\u2019s reputation for personal gain.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n The group reaffirmed its unwavering support for Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, describing him as \u201can invaluable asset to the APC, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and the people of Kebbi State and the wider North West.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n According to Suleiman, Bagudu\u2019s leadership has strengthened party structures, fostered unity, and delivered policies that have positively impacted communities.<\/p>\n \u201cSenator Bagudu has consistently prioritized governance, youth development, and inclusive progress. He is approachable, committed, and focused on advancing policies that improve the lives of ordinary citizens. His experience and vision are indispensable to the APC and to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu\u2019s administration<\/em>,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n The APC Youths described the coalition\u2019s recent statements as \u201cbaseless and divisive,\u201d accusing its members of attempting to destabilize the party\u2019s internal cohesion.<\/p>\n \u201cThese claims reflect the desperation of political opportunists who seek to undermine the progress achieved under Minister Bagudu\u2019s stewardship<\/em>,\u201d Suleiman said.<\/p>\n The youth league called on all APC members and supporters in the region to remain united behind Governor Nasir Idris, stressing that party cohesion was critical to sustaining the APC\u2019s developmental gains in Kebbi and the North West.<\/p>\n \u201cThe APC has achieved significant milestones in governance, infrastructure, and youth empowerment thanks to the leadership of Senator Bagudu and other committed party figures.
