{"id":237455,"date":"2025-11-16T13:57:44","date_gmt":"2025-11-16T13:57:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.name.ng\/news\/it-takes-a-strong-woman-to-manage-my-husband-wikes-wife-declares\/"},"modified":"2025-11-16T13:57:44","modified_gmt":"2025-11-16T13:57:44","slug":"it-takes-a-strong-woman-to-manage-my-husband-wikes-wife-declares","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.com.ng\/news\/it-takes-a-strong-woman-to-manage-my-husband-wikes-wife-declares\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cIt takes a strong woman to manage my husband\u201d \u2013 Wike\u2019s wife declares"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Justice Eberechi Suzzette Wike of the Court of Appeal and wife of Nyesom Wike, minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), says it takes a strong woman to manage her husband.<\/p>\n<p>She said this on the sidelines of a golf event held at the Nigeria Air Force Base, Goodluck Jonathan Golf Course, Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>The event was organised by Monica Dongban-Mensem, president of the Court of Appeal, to mark the International Road Crash Victims Africa sports programme.<\/p>\n<p>Wike said many Nigerians would be surprised to see her playing golf, but noted that it was not her first time on the course.<\/p>\n<p>She said she attended the event to support Dongban-Mensem, whose NGO promotes road safety awareness following the loss of her son in a road crash in 2011.<\/p>\n<p>She said she unwinds by watching television, especially the news, because keeping up with national events helps her stay prepared for issues that may arise in court.<\/p>\n<p>Wike added that she also enjoys cooking, watching football, and swimming, noting that she played football in secondary school.<\/p>\n<p>When asked what it takes to manage her husband, she replied: \u201cIt takes a strong woman to do so.
