The Abia <\/a>State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has praised President Bola Tinubu <\/a>for nominating former Governor of Abia <\/a>State, Okezie Ikpeazu, as an ambassador.<\/p>\n In a statement issued by its chairman, Amah Abraham, on behalf of the State Working Committee, SWC, and other members, the party said the nomination was well deserved.<\/p>\n According to the Abia <\/a>PDP, Ikpeazu\u2019s nomination by President Tinubu <\/a>is a clear recognition of his dedicated service, visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment to peace, progress, and the development of Nigeria at large.<\/p>\n \u201cThis appointment is a clear recognition of Dr Ikpeazu\u2019s years of dedicated service, visionary leadership, and unwavering commitment to the peace, progress, and development of Abia <\/a>State and Nigeria at large.<\/p>\n \u201cAs a party, we take pride in his accomplishments and steadfast devotion to public service,\u201d Abraham said.<\/p>\n The party added that President Tinubu\u2019s decision to nominate the former Abia <\/a>governor as an Ambassador reinforces the importance of competence, experience, and inclusive governance in building a better Nigeria.<\/p>\n It further expressed confidence that Ikpeazu would represent Nigeria with distinction.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
