The father of the late Nigerian singer, Mohbad<\/strong>, Joseph Aloba, has announced that the musician will immediately be laid to rest after the DNA test.<\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that Joseph has been at loggerheads with Mohbad\u2019s wife, Wunmi, over the paternity of their child, Liam.<\/p>\n In a video making the rounds online, Joseph Aloba described the DNA test as the most important factor delaying Mohbad\u2019s burial.<\/p>\n Mohbad\u2019s father added that the family will move on with the burial after the conclusion of the DNA test.<\/p>\n He said, \u201cToday is the DNA court case, my lawyer is here and I am telling the whole world that this is the most important thing and this is what has been delaying the burial of Mohbad. After the DNA is done, we will immediately move on to the burial.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Meanwhile, Wunmi has taken legal steps to prevent any unauthorised attempt to claim <\/strong>or control the singer\u2019s estate.<\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong>\u00a0reports that Aloba filed a formal notice at the Lagos State High Court, Ikeja, urging the Probate Registry to reject any application for Letters of Administration not submitted by the lawful beneficiaries.<\/p>\n According to a letter dated November 19, 2025 and submitted by the law firm Salawu, Akingbolu & Co., Mohbad\u2019s widow confirmed that she had filed Form 5 and Form 6, both of which legally bar the issuance of Letters of Administration to any party other than those recognised by law.<\/p>\n The correspondence, signed by I. P.
