Tinubu <\/a>has been commended by Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for nominating Reno Omokri as an ambassador-designate.<\/p>\nOmeni Sobotie, APC chairman in Delta, said the nomination reflects the president\u2019s commitment to merit, inclusion and the recognition of individuals dedicated to Nigeria\u2019s progress.<\/p>\n
The party said Omokri is a Delta-born technocrat and advocate whose \u201cvoice and intellectual rigour\u201d have shaped national conversations over the years.<\/p>\n
The APC congratulated Omokri and described the appointment as recognition of his ideas, long-standing involvement in policy discourse and international exposure.<\/p>\n
The chapter said the nominee has consistently demonstrated the capacity to serve Nigeria at the highest level.<\/p>\n
Delta APC said it celebrates Omokri as \u201ca proud son of our beloved state\u201d who has excelled with honour and integrity nationally and globally.<\/p>\n
The party said the development shows the possibilities for Deltans who continue to excel in different fields.<\/p>\n
It expressed confidence that Omokri will \u201cexcel in this diplomatic role\u201d and serve as \u201ca bridge-builder, an image-bearer of Nigeria\u2019s potential and a worthy representative of Delta State\u201d.<\/p>\n
It added that Omokri\u2019s global work in public service, advocacy, media, humanitarian causes and diplomacy positions him to promote Nigeria\u2019s interests abroad.<\/p>\n
