Nigerian skitmaker, Adesokan Adedeji Emmanuel, popularly known as Shank Comics, has reacted after his old social media post praising convicted American rapper, Diddy\u2019s \u201cmindset\u201d resurfaced and sparked heavy backlash online.<\/p>\n
Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that in the old post, Shank spoke about admiring Diddy\u2019s \u201cperspective to the grind\u201d and his ability to adapt, noting that the music mogul \u201cgot lost in the pursuit of power.\u201d<\/p>\n Amid the backlash online, Shank, in a post via his \ud835\udd4f handle, clarified that he was not supporting Diddy in any way.<\/p>\n According to him, the earlier social media post was a \u201cmisguided attempt\u201d at referencing a villain in a movie.<\/p>\n He admitted the post was irresponsible and clarified that he does not admire, defend, or support Diddy, especially with the serious allegations the American star has faced.<\/p>\n Shank added that the accusations against Diddy are horrific and that anyone guilty of such behaviour deserves every consequence that follows.<\/p>\n He wrote, \u201cTo clarify any misunderstanding: My post about Diddy was a misguided attempt at referencing a villain in a \u201cmovie\u201d and it was irresponsible. To be absolutely clear, I do not admire, support, or defend him in any way.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cThe allegations against him are horrific, and he deserves every consequence that comes from them. What he\u2019s been accused of (and convicted of) is unacceptable and has no place in our industry or anywhere else.
