Former Senate President,\u00a0 Dr. Bukola Saraki, says he is deeply shaken by the death of Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakpo, deputy governor of Bayelsa state.<\/p>\n
Saraki said Ewhrudjakpo\u2019s career in public service showed a man committed to the development of his state.<\/p>\n
He said the late deputy governor was widely regarded as a workaholic and a technocrat who brought intellectual rigour to governance.<\/p>\n
Saraki described Ewhrudjakpo as \u201ca stabiliser and loyal ally\u201d to Governor Douye Diri of Bayelsa.<\/p>\n
His words: \u201cTo lose such a capable hand\u2014a stabiliser and loyal ally \u2014 is a devastating blow to my brother, Governor Duoye Diri<\/span>, and the entire Bayelsa State Government. <\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAs we mourn his passing, I extend my most heartfelt condolences to Governor Diri, the Ewhrudjakpo family, and the good people of Bayelsa State.
