{"id":238240,"date":"2025-12-14T13:15:40","date_gmt":"2025-12-14T13:15:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.name.ng\/news\/you-are-the-ones-running-aiyedatiwa-govt-down-media-aide-blasts-ondo-commissioners\/"},"modified":"2025-12-14T13:15:40","modified_gmt":"2025-12-14T13:15:40","slug":"you-are-the-ones-running-aiyedatiwa-govt-down-media-aide-blasts-ondo-commissioners","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abiaradiostations.com.ng\/news\/you-are-the-ones-running-aiyedatiwa-govt-down-media-aide-blasts-ondo-commissioners\/","title":{"rendered":"You Are The Ones Running Aiyedatiwa Govt Down \u2013 Media Aide Blasts Ondo Commissioners"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<div id=\"mvp-content-main\">\n<p>The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa on multimedia, Taiwo Gbamila, has claimed that the Commissioner of Infrastructure, Abiola Olawoye and the Commissioner for Finance, Wunmi Isaac, are sabotaging the efforts of the governor\u2019s media aides to properly showcase his achievements.<\/p>\n<p>Gbamila stated this while reacting to a submission by Olawoye, who purportedly launched an attack on the governor\u2019s media aides on Friday during an APC stakeholders\u2019 meeting in Akure, the state capital.<\/p>\n<p>The infrastructure commissioner had, during the meeting, alleged that the governor\u2019s media aides were shirking their responsibilities in showcasing the ongoing projects of his ministry.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking in a viral video, the aide disclosed that Olawoye has been inaccessible since his appointment.<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201c<em>We really don\u2019t understand the issue Olawoye has with the media aides of the governor for him to continue to disparage them. Even when all of us were working to ensure that Aiyedatiwa emerged as the governor, you (Olawoye) were never in the picture.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cEven when you were made a commissioner, nobody got angry; we all embraced and celebrated you. But in all sincerity, Olawoye has been the one frustrating us from properly showcasing the ongoing projects of Mr Governor to the people.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWhen I was made the chairman of a committee by the Chief Press Secretary (CPS), Ebenezer Adeniyan, to identify and showcase the works and projects of the governor, Olawoye, on a series of occasions, prevented us from seeing or having access to the project sites.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThere is absolutely no way for us to project the activities and strides of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa that your ministry (Infrastructure) will not be involved. We called you (Olawoye) on so many occasions; you never picked up your calls and ignored the messages we sent to you, even those from the CPS.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cBoth you (Olawoye) and the Commissioner for Finance waged a war against the media aides. You are actually the ones running Aiyedatiwa\u2019s government down. The Commissioner for Finance, on her part, has refused to release running grants for the media unit, which has run into nine months now. We are just dying in silence. But the two of you will always blame us for the problems that you caused.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cThe CPS has been the one calming us, the media aides, from speaking out, assuring us that everything will be calmly resolved.
