The All Progressives Congress (APC<\/strong>) in Kebbi State has suspended the Chairman of Birnin Kebbi Local Government Area, Dahiru Nayaya Ambursa<\/strong>, from the party with immediate effect.<\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that the suspension was conveyed in a letter signed by the Kebbi Central Zonal Vice Chairman of the APC, Abubakar Bello, and made available to journalists on Monday.<\/p>\n According to the letter, the decision followed what the party described as credible reports and findings alleging misuse of office and involvement in activities capable of undermining the unity and image of the APC.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are writing to formally notify you of your suspension from the party with immediate effect,\u201d<\/em> the letter stated.<\/p>\n The party accused the council chairman of actions that \u201cundermine, ridicule, embarrass, and disunite the party,\u201d adding that such conduct was detrimental to the party\u2019s collective interests.<\/p>\n The APC said Ambursa\u2019s alleged actions contravened Article 21 (2) (ii) of the APC Constitution (2022, as amended), which spells out offences and disciplinary measures for members whose conduct is considered harmful to the party.<\/p>\n The letter stressed that the suspension was in line with the party\u2019s constitutional provisions and internal disciplinary procedures.<\/p>\n As part of the disciplinary measures, the party directed that Ambursa should refrain from entering any APC office throughout the duration of his suspension.<\/p>\n The letter further warned that any similar actions while the suspension remains in force could attract stiffer sanctions.<\/p>\n \u201cAny further misconduct may lead to more severe disciplinary action, including possible expulsion from the party,\u201d<\/em> the letter added.<\/p>\n Efforts to reach Ambursa for comments on the development were unsuccessful as of the time of filing this report.<\/p>\n \u201cREAD THE FULL SUSPENSION LETTER BELOW:<\/em><\/p>\n APC<\/em> Our Ref: ____________\u2003\u2003Your Ref: ____________\u2003\u2003Date: 29th December, 2025<\/em><\/p>\n Alh.
