The National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, Yunusa Tanko, has stated that Peter Obi will soon reveal the party through which he intends to contest in the 2027 general elections.<\/p>\n
Speaking during an interview Tanko emphasised that the decision rests solely with Obi.<\/p>\n
\u201cA lot of people are waiting for Peter Obi to announce the party he will contest under.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis shows that he is not only sought after in Nigeria but also admired globally\u2014a truly valuable asset.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will allow Obi to make that announcement in his own time.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe has consistently shown that he works closely with a coalition and is a team player.<\/p>\n
\u201cHis eventual decision will make everyone happy. Obi has always been actively involved in this coalition, contributing to the political party it has produced.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen he makes his pronouncement, it will be welcomed by all because he is committed to teamwork and to a Nigeria that is free from those who act against the country\u2019s best interests.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo, His Excellency, Mr Peter Obi, will make his announcement very soon,\u201d Tanko said.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
