Co-convener of the BringBackOurGirls Movement, Aisha Yesufu, has declared that she will become a card-carrying member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), citing her support for Peter Obi.<\/p>\n
Yesufu made the declaration on Wednesday in Enugu, in solidarity with Obi following his defection from the Labour Party to the ADC.<\/p>\n
She urged well-meaning Nigerians to unite ahead of the 2027 general elections, stressing the need for collective action to rescue the country.<\/p>\n
\u201cI have never been a card-carrying member of any political party, but I will be a card-carrying member of the ADC,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
\u201cEnough is enough. There is no more time for tears. We have cried too much.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom this moment onward, we will fight for Nigeria. We will build a great nation.<\/p>\n
\u201cADC will take Nigeria to a point where the son of a nobody can become somebody without knowing anybody,\u201d Yesufu added.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
