The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ahoada West Local Government Area of Rivers State has declared that it will largely follow the directives of the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike<\/strong>, as the 2027 general elections approach.<\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that the pledge was made by the Chairman of the APC in Ahoada West, Rejoice Otobo, during Wike\u2019s \u201cthank you\u201d visit to the area on Sunday.<\/p>\n Otobo assured the minister that party members in the LGA are ready to act on Wike\u2019s guidance, citing the developmental impact Wike had during his time as governor.<\/p>\n \u201cWe await instructions from you on the 2027 elections. Wherever you ask us to go, there we shall go; whatever you ask us to do is what we will do. All the people of this LGA have decided that where you want us to go is where we will all go,\u201d<\/em> Otobo said.<\/p>\n In a similar show of unity, the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the LGA, Ikechukwu Obuzor, also pledged unwavering loyalty to Wike.<\/p>\n \u201cI want to say that we are standing firm with you: wherever you go, we will go. Be rest assured that come 2027, Ahoada West will go with you in total,\u201d<\/em> Obuzor said.<\/p>\n Earlier in the event, the Chairman of Ahoada West LGA, Chita Eugene, described Wike as \u201cthe political field marshal of the South-South,\u201d praising him for the numerous projects he attracted to Rivers during his tenure as governor.<\/p>\n Eugene said the visit was more than a courtesy call; it was a celebration of effective leadership and public service.<\/p>\n Also speaking, Rep.
