Former Senator and diplomat, Abdallah Wali, has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party<\/strong> (PDP) after more than two decades of association with the party.<\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/strong> reports that Wali announced his resignation from PDP in a letter dated December 31, 2025, and addressed to the party\u2019s ward chairman of Sanyinna ward in Tambuwal LGA, Sokoto state.<\/p>\n While expressing appreciation to the PDP leaders for the opportunity to serve both the party and the country, Wali said his resignation is with immediate effect.<\/p>\n Copies of the resignation letter were forwarded to the PDP chairman in Tambuwal LGA and the party\u2019s state chairman in Sokoto, but Wali had not disclosed his next political move.<\/p>\n He said, \u201cI am resigning from my membership of the Peoples Democratic Party, including all organs of the PDP in which I am a member.
