Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf<\/strong>, has hinted that he is unbothered by the controversy surrounding his planned defection to the All Progressives Congress (APC) on January 12, 2026.<\/p>\n Abia Radio News<\/b> reports that while a faction in the state believes Yusuf\u2019s decision was coming at the right time, as it will help the state to align with the centre, others in the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) consider the move as nothing but a betrayal of trust given to him by the leader of the Kwankwasiyya movement, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso.<\/p>\n In a video obtained by Daily Post, Yusuf, while addressing his supporters, stated that he is a man of action and does not believe in lengthy conversations.<\/p>\n He said, \u201cI have never commented on the discussions that follow the issues at stake, because I don\u2019t believes in talking too much.\u201d<\/i><\/p>\n \u201cWhat started small has been magnified as said by a Hausa Singer, Karamar Magana Tazama Babba.
