A former vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Datti Baba-Ahmed, has claimed that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) will come to an end after its primary elections.<\/p>\n
Speaking on Channels Television on Friday morning, Baba-Ahmed stated that the party would dissolve after the primary elections fail to favour some of the top politicians within its folds.<\/p>\n
He dismissed the politicians in the ADC, stating that it does not have the calibre of the late former President Muhammadu Buhari or Bola Tinubu, whom he described as a resourceful, focused, and determined master politician.<\/p>\n
Baba-Ahmed pointed out that the same people who built the All Progressives Congress (APC) are also the same people who formed the ADC.<\/p>\n
He said, \u201cSome of them went all the way to Senate screening and are taking it back now to use the Nigerian people to fight the APC. I am not that gullible. I am able to ask questions right from the beginning of their respective political careers to where they are today, and I answer those questions negatively.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cI have also highlighted the structure, many structural defects of PDP, that they are deluding themselves to think that Nigerians will agree to be deceived twice after bringing in APC, they go and remove the P and bring a D, and think that Nigerians will just fall for it, for the same people.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cI have told you that they don\u2019t have a Buhari in ADC where runners up will team up to support him. They don\u2019t have a Tinubu, a resourceful, focused and determined master politician. I\u2019m not praising Him, who has his own hidden agenda. They don\u2019t have it in ADC.<\/em><\/p>\n \u201cThe era of 2015 leading up to 2011 was that there was a subsistent promise after electing then President Jonathan, that does not exist. Now there isn\u2019t a promise issue. So everything about the coalition that happened before is not there.
